Purify and free pool leak detection.
For Unix, we do not do our own free pool management for ObjectStore-based clients (this currently is Objectbench). The pool management is a global optimization to improve overall heap allocation performance. This is done by providing our own implementations of global operators "new" and "delete".
When using Purify to perform leak detection, be sure to comment out the global operator new and delete and recompile tobject.cc to remove our free pool management logic, as it confuses the leak detection logic.
