Subject: Sports Cars (fwd)

This old man on a really old moped pulled up at a stop light and 
looked over to see a brand new shiny red car next to him.  The driver 

of the new car was obviously pleased with his vehicle, so the old man 

asked him what kind of car it was.
"It is a 1997 Lambourghini Countach.  It cost me about $500,000."
"Wow!", the old man exclaimed.  "Why does it cost so much?"
"Because it is precision engineered motor vehicle that can do over 
200 mph" , the man haughtily replied.
The old man then asked the driver if he could look inside the car.  
He then leaned in throught the passenger side window and checked out 

the interior.  Pulling his head back out he commented on what a fine 

vehicle that it was.
At that moment the light turned green and the young man decided that 

he would show the old man just what his car was made of and proceeded 

to zip through his 5 gears.  Topping out at about 100 mph, the young 

man looked in his rear-view mirror and was surprised to see someone
approaching very rapidly and was shocked when the old man on the 
moped whizzed by him.  Not to have his new car outdone, he 
accelerated up to 150 mph and quickly repassed the old man on the 
moped.  No sooner had he done this, however, when the old man shot 
past him again.  So the young man sped up even more and passed the 
moped once again.  Looking in his mirrors he saw the moped racing up 

on him and ran smack dab into the back of his new car!
Getting out he ran towards the back and cried "I have never seen a 
moped go that fast before!!  Are you OK?"  
The old man shakily replied "Yeah ,I'll be fine as soon as I unhook 
my suspenders from your side view mirror!"
